Flushing High School has a partnership with the
Theater Development Fund (TDF) which provides tickets to a Broadway show free
of charge to high school classes. TDF hosts a teacher workshop prior to
the production so teachers can better prepare their students to see the show.
TDF also funds a unique teaching artist program that brings professional
working artists into the classroom for a total of four sessions, to be
supplemented by four show prep sessions organized by the teacher. This
year an advanced drama class was selected to see "Peter and the
Starcatcher." Below are images of students acting out various roles
